June 25 (UPI) – David Rush, a prolific world record-breaker from Idaho, has added another achievement to his impressive collection by toppling 10 empty soda cans with a squirt gun in record time. This latest feat marks his 178th concurrently-held Guinness World Record, bringing him closer to his goal of holding 181 records simultaneously to become the world’s top record-breaker.
Rush, known for his dedication to setting and breaking records, took on the challenge of the fastest time to topple ten targets using a water pistol. The attempt required not only precision but also the ability to generate enough force with a very small water gun, which presented its own unique set of difficulties.
Guinness World Records required me to use a very small water gun, making it difficult to get enough power to topple the cans without sacrificing accuracy,” Rush explained. “The harder I squeezed, the worse my aim became.”
After several attempts, Rush managed to surpass the previous record of 5.93 seconds on his 10th try. Not satisfied with just breaking the record, he made one final attempt and set a new record time of 4.92 seconds.
