In addition to its overall ranking, Chicago topped the list for best convention centers and ranked second for its vibrant nightlife.
Globally, Chicago secured the 16th spot on the World’s Best Cities list, a testament to its international appeal.
Despite challenges from the 2020 pandemic, Chicago is rebounding strongly. The city is noted for its revived productivity and efficiency, boasting the second-most Fortune 500 headquarters in the nation after New York. It also ranks highly in prosperity indicators like job postings and patents.
Chicagoans can look forward to a bustling lineup of summer festivals, Millennium Park’s upcoming 20th anniversary, and exciting new venues like The Salt Shed, housed in a former Morton Salt factory.
