ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – According to the Crime Index, Albuquerque has been ranked as the 20th most dangerous city in the world.
Among the top 20 cities listed, only four are located in the United States. Albuquerque follows behind Memphis, Baltimore, and Detroit in the rankings.

South Africa dominates the list with the top two most dangerous cities, while Caracas, Venezuela claims the third spot. Albuquerque’s placement at number 20 underscores ongoing concerns about safety within the city.
