Marbella, renowned for its opulence and allure, has once again captured attention with a remarkable sale over the weekend—the most expensive bottle of champagne ever sold in the municipality’s history. The transaction took place at Momento, a prominent restaurant and nightclub owned by the Mosh Group, known for its collaboration with Dani García Group and Dolce&Gabbana.
A loyal patron of Momento, described only as a VIP, made headlines by purchasing a six-liter magnum of Dom Pérignon Champagne Brut Luminous Phantom for an impressive 50,000 euros. This acquisition marks the highest recorded sale of champagne in Marbella to date. The bottle, a prized rarity from a limited edition produced by the esteemed French winery, held a prominent position in the nightclub’s cellar.
Details about the buyer remain scarce, though it is known that they were accompanied by friends, enjoying the venue’s distinctive ambiance and renowned musical offerings. Momento is celebrated as the Temple of Electronic Music, hosting exclusive performances by world-class DJs like Black Coffee, Andrea Oliva, Marco Carola, and Luciano.
Despite its hefty price tag, this purchase falls short of surpassing the world’s most expensive champagnes, such as the Taste of Diamonds 2013, valued at 2.07 million euros. Known for its luxurious white gold label adorned with a substantial crystal from Swarovski, this champagne remains a benchmark in extravagance, crafted by Shammi Shinh of Prodiguer Brands.
Marbella’s recent record-breaking sale underscores its ongoing reputation as a playground for the affluent, where luxury and exclusivity continue to define the summer experience.
