The title of the fastest ambulance in the world belongs to the HyperSport Responds, which can achieve an astonishing top speed of 395 km/h. This record-breaking vehicle, unveiled at Expo 2020 Dubai, is not your typical ambulance but rather a modified Lykan HyperSport supercar. The ambulance is currently operated by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS).
Only seven units of the Lykan HyperSport were produced, each priced around €3.2 million. The HyperSport Responds is equipped with a 780-horsepower twin-turbo Porsche engine, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. It features a carbon fiber body and boasts the world’s first 3D holographic display with motion control.
Adding to its luxurious nature, the vehicle includes 440 small diamonds on the LED headlights, while its interior features gold-plated stitching and a gold-plated roof.
Despite the detailed specifications available for this high-speed ambulance, information regarding its medical equipment remains scarce. This raises questions about whether the ambulance serves a practical medical purpose or if it is more of a promotional tool, highlighted by its livery slogans promoting Dubai as a top travel destination.
