Mohammed Al-Habib Real Estate Co. has set a new global benchmark by securing a Guinness World Record for the largest continuous concrete pour ever conducted. The historic achievement took place as part of the company’s ambitious Kaheel project in Saudi Arabia.
The announcement was made at the Cityscape Global exhibition in Riyadh, where the company celebrated the remarkable feat with the screening of a documentary that detailed the complex and impressive process behind the massive concrete pour.
The prestigious Guinness World Record certificate was presented to Mr. Abdullah Al-Habib, CEO of Mohammed Al-Habib Real Estate Co., who expressed immense pride in the accomplishment, highlighting its significance as a national achievement. He emphasized that this milestone reflects the company’s commitment to pioneering innovative projects that support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Al-Habib also credited the success to the collaborative efforts of the company’s teams, various government agencies, and its robust supply chain, which played a pivotal role in executing this large-scale operation.
“Through our dedication and expertise, we are not only meeting but exceeding the Kingdom’s vision of creating world-class infrastructure and improving the quality of life for its residents and visitors,” he added.
Engineer Mansour Al-Otaibi, Vice President of Mohammed Al-Habib Real Estate Co., provided further insight into the record-breaking pour, which began in 2024 and spanned three continuous days. The company surpassed the previous record of 32,000 cubic meters by pouring an astounding 70,000 cubic meters of concrete.
The operation involved an impressive 9,000 workers, 13,000 mixers, 87 pumps, and 6,500 trucks, all coordinated through a single entry point—a testament to the company’s logistical expertise and scale.
In addition to the Guinness World Record, the Kaheel project has received significant international recognition. It won two major awards at the 2024 International Property Awards: “Best Mixed-Use Development” and “Best Residential Development.”
Covering 96,833 square meters, the Kaheel project boasts 1,492 residential units and a comprehensive range of amenities, including an indoor park, mosque, sports club, supermarket, walking paths, and over 30,000 square meters of green space. The development merges luxury living with everyday convenience, offering a holistic living experience.
This achievement further solidifies Mohammed Al-Habib Real Estate Co.’s leadership in Saudi Arabia’s real estate market and reinforces its role in shaping the Kingdom’s urban landscape in line with Vision 2030.
