On November 12, 2024, Dr. Farzam achieved the record for the most bodyweight repetitions in 30 seconds during a bench press event at Lil’s Gym in Kitchener. Weighing in at 201.8 lbs, he successfully completed 44 repetitions, adhering to standard powerlifting rules. The Guinness World Records team officially confirmed the achievement.
This record comes just days after Dr. Farzam’s victory at the Pan American Powerlifting Championships in Costa Rica. A seasoned powerlifter, he balanced his demanding medical career with his passion for strength sports, continuing to break records in both fields.
