Ashraf Mahrous, also known as Kabonga, a renowned Egyptian wrestler, made a remarkable splash on Thursday by setting three Guinness World Records. Mahrous performed an incredible feat by using only his teeth to grip a thick rope, pulling a 279-ton train nearly 10 meters (33 feet) down the track. This awe-inspiring achievement earned him recognition in three distinct categories: the heaviest rail pull using teeth, the heaviest locomotive pull, and the fastest 100-meter road vehicle pull.
Mahrous, who is in his 40s and serves as the president of the Egyptian Federation for Professional Wrestlers, demonstrated his impressive strength once again by repeating the train pull, this time with a strap around his shoulders, further showcasing his extraordinary abilities. His impressive feats of strength are not new, as Mahrous has previously garnered attention for cracking and consuming 11 raw eggs in just 30 seconds and for pulling a 15,730-kilogram truck with his teeth.
Despite training for only 20 days before this demonstration, Mahrous’ “abnormal strength” left spectators in awe. One of the event’s organizers, Dawlet Elnakeb, commented on Mahrous’ impressive preparation time, noting that his remarkable physical capabilities were fully on display during the event.
