Proto21 3D Printing LLC and MYATA Platinum have achieved a groundbreaking milestone by creating the world’s largest 3D printed structure (by volume) in Dubai, UAE. The record-breaking structure, measuring 13.75 cubic meters (485 ft³ or 996 in³), was completed on February 25, 2025. This extraordinary feat was confirmed by Guinness World Records.
The structure, located in Dubai, is a seamless, integrated design that spans approximately 100 square meters and includes a cave, an entrance area, and detailed wall facades. The structure also features a striking staircase facade that reaches 8.6 meters in height, while the entire construction measures 15.73 meters in length and 6.78 meters in width.
“This world record is not only a milestone in Proto21’s growth but also an important milestone in the evolution of 3D printing technology,” said Pir Arkam, CEO of Proto21.
Produced using Proto21’s advanced 3D Printing Farm, the structure was created using 150 FDM (fused deposition modeling) machines. The farm operates through a network of 3D printers that work together, producing multiple parts simultaneously in a highly coordinated manner under a centralized management system.
In addition to the largest 3D printed structure, MYATA Platinum Restaurant boasts 23 large amorphic 3D printed elements that form its interior and exterior facades, including VIP rooms, caves, counters, and planters. All 3D printed structures are finished with sand-textured paint to create a natural, rock-like aesthetic, blending cutting-edge technology with earthy, organic designs.
The design inspiration for Myata’s layout draws from the topography of sand canyons, creating an immersive experience for visitors. Proto21’s designers used Blender software to manually apply unique 3D sedimentary patterns to each surface, ensuring that every part of the structure is one-of-a-kind and reflective of natural formations.
This achievement marks a new frontier in 3D printing, combining innovation, art, and technology to create stunning, functional structures.
