A kitten named Baozi, hailing from Wenzhou in Zhejiang province, China, has rolled its way into the prestigious Guinness World Records by achieving the title of “Fastest 10m on a Skateboard by a Cat,” as reported by China Press.
Official records from the Guinness World Records website confirm that the 20-month-old American Shorthair accomplished the feat in an impressive 12.85 seconds, comfortably surpassing the established time limit of 25 seconds.
A spokesperson from Guinness World Records disclosed that previously, China had seen only a handful of cat-related record holders, with the majority originating from Europe and the United States.
Owner Li Jiangtao, an experienced pet trainer, expressed surprise at Baozi’s achievement. “Baozi is just like any other kitten, but when it showed interest in skateboarding, I began training it,” he explained.
