Bon Jovi’s newest studio album, “Forever,” has made an impressive entry at the top spot on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart for the week ending June 13. The album sold 50,000 copies in the U.S., with vinyl sales contributing significantly to this figure, accounting for 9,000 copies – marking the band’s most successful week in vinyl sales since tracking began in 1991.
In addition to Bon Jovi’s chart-topping success, several other notable debuts have graced the top 10 of the Top Album Sales chart. Charli XCX’s latest release, “Brat,” enters at No. 2 with 45,000 copies sold, marking her largest sales week to date.
ATEEZ’s “Golden Hour: Part.1” slips to No. 3 in its second week on the chart, followed by Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” at No. 4 and Billie Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft” at No. 5.
Meghan Trainor returns to the charts with her album “Timeless,” which starts at No. 6 with 15,000 copies sold, her highest sales week since 2016. Superduo NxWorries debuts at No. 7 with “Why Lawd?” selling 11,000 copies, exclusively from physical configurations.
Chappell Roan’s “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” makes a significant jump from 17 to 8 with 8,000 copies sold, following a standout performance at the Governor’s Ball. Twenty One Pilots’ “Clancy” falls to No. 9, while The Marias’ “Submarine” rounds out the top 10.
Overall, Bon Jovi’s “Forever” and the other top-selling albums reflect a diverse range of musical styles and artists, making for an exciting week on the Top Album Sales chart.
