Unihertz has unveiled the Jelly Star as the world’s smallest 5G smartphone, expanding its lineup from the already compact Android 13 Jelly smartphone available for $219.99 on Amazon. The company, known for pioneering ultra-compact designs, now aims to set a new benchmark with the Jelly Max, touted as the smallest 5G smartphone.
The teaser website reveals a sleek front design with noticeably slimmer display bezels, although final assessments should await the device’s retail release. Named the Jelly Max, the smartphone is anticipated to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and an AMOLED panel, with its front-facing camera housed in a punch-hole located at the top left corner of the display.
While specific technical details are still under wraps, Unihertz plans to launch the Jelly Max through Indiegogo, with the timing of its release yet to be confirmed.
