Avery Chin, a stage magician hailing from Malaysia, has shattered a Guinness World Record by executing 17 illusions within a span of just three minutes.
Chin surpassed the previous record of 11 illusions, held by India’s Magician Alwin since 2023, showcasing his prowess in the art of magic and securing his place in the prestigious record books.
I have always aspired to achieve a world record through magic, demonstrating my passion for this art form and elevating it to unprecedented heights,” Chin stated proudly to Guinness World Records.
Among the impressive array of tricks performed during his record-breaking feat were the seamless disappearance and reappearance of objects, manipulation of oversized playing cards, and the transformation of a blank handkerchief into a polka-dotted spectacle.
“Setting a world record requires a different level of preparation compared to a regular performance. It’s about executing magic swiftly, accurately, and with clarity,” Chin explained. “Adhering meticulously to the guidelines set by Guinness World Records was paramount, leaving no room for error.”
Chin’s accomplishment not only highlights his mastery of magic but also underscores the rigorous discipline required to achieve such a milestone.
