PARIS — Chinese diver Quan Hongchan continued her dominance in the diving world by clinching the gold medal in the women’s 10m platform event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on Tuesday.
At just 17 years old, Quan Hongchan delivered a stellar performance, scoring 425.6 points to secure her second gold medal of the Paris Games. Her closest competitor was fellow Chinese diver Chen Yuxi, who finished in second place with a score of 420.7 points.
Quan’s victory in the 10m platform event follows her success in the synchronized 10m platform competition, where she teamed up with Chen Yuxi to win the gold last Wednesday. Her achievements in Paris reaffirm her status as one of the leading figures in international diving, showcasing her exceptional talent and composure on the world stage.
