David Rush from Idaho, USA, has achieved a remarkable feat by setting 15 Guinness World Records in a single day. Known as a “serial record breaker,” Rush, who has now broken over 250 records in his lifetime, achieved this latest milestone at the Guinness World Records headquarters in London.
Rush’s record-setting day included an impressive array of achievements. He started with juggling, setting the record for the most bites taken from three apples while juggling in one minute, with 198 bites. He also claimed titles for the fastest time to bounce a table tennis ball on two bottle caps ten times using alternate hands (2.09 seconds) and the most touches of a baseball with alternating hands in 30 seconds (125 touches).
Further records were set in a series of ping pong ball challenges, including the most balls bounced against a wall with the mouth in 30 seconds and the most hits against a wall in one minute. Additionally, he achieved the most table tennis balls caught in shaving foam on the head in 30 seconds.
Rush continued his record-breaking spree with feats such as the most juggling tricks in one minute with three balls, the most juggling catches of a bowling ball and two balls on a balance board in one minute, and the fastest time to fold and throw a paper airplane (5.12 seconds). He also set records for the most chopsticks thrown at a target in one minute (29), the most T-shirts put on in 30 seconds, the fastest time to stack 10 toilet paper rolls with one hand, the most water moved by hands in 30 seconds, and the fastest time to drink one liter of lime juice through a straw.
Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Sinden praised Rush’s endurance and skill, remarking, “Adjudicating that many records in one day was tiring, so I’m even more impressed how David kept breaking records without seeming like he was breaking a sweat.” Rush expressed his delight by stating he felt “officially amazing” after his extraordinary day of achievements.
