Irfan Mehsood and his five-year-old son, Sufiyan Mehsood, have set a new Guinness World Record in Pakistan. On June 19 in Dera Ismail Khan, the father-son team achieved the fastest time to climb around a person, completing the challenge in 7.87 seconds. This performance surpassed the previous record held by India’s MV Arjun Priyan, who completed the climb in 9.78 seconds.
Irfan Mehsood, a multiple Guinness World Record holder, noted that the record, known as the “Koala Challenge,” gained popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sufiyan Mehsood has now become Pakistan’s youngest Guinness World Record holder, adding to Irfan’s impressive tally of 100 Guinness World Records.
In addition to the recent achievement, Irfan Mehsood has broken several records, including:
Lifting a 40-pound weight with his toe for 1 minute and 32 seconds, surpassing Italy’s Marcello Ferri.
Holding the record for the deadlift with a 40-pound weight for 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
Lifting a 70 kg weight with his toe to set a new world record.
Irfan Mehsood has also set records in various physical categories, including push-ups, squats, jumping jacks, and more. He has established records in 16 countries, including the United States, Great Britain, India, China, and several others. Mehsood proudly claims the title of the first Pakistani to hold 100 Guinness World Records within less than eight years.
