London, UK — Arun Maini and Matthew Perks set a new Guinness World Record for the largest smartphone replica, measuring an impressive 2.054 meters (6.74 feet) in height. The record-setting achievement was unveiled in London, UK.
Arun Maini, known to his YouTube followers as @mrwhosetheboss, had pledged to create the world’s largest iPhone if his subscriber count exceeded that of Apple. Collaborating with Matthew Perks, known as @DIYperks, the duo spent over three months constructing a scaled-up version of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The resulting replica is over 12 times larger than the original device.
Remarkably, the oversized smartphone is fully functional, replicating the features of a standard phone. It includes a touchscreen keyboard, and is capable of making and receiving phone calls, conducting video calls, playing videos, listening to music, and even taking selfies. Arun Maini demonstrated these features upon receiving the official Guinness World Records certification.
The creation stands as a testament to the innovative spirit and technical skills of its creators, marking a significant milestone in the realm of record-breaking achievements.
