Amaravati, once devastated under the previous YCP government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, is now witnessing a remarkable revival under the NDA administration and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership. The city is emerging from its struggles, likened to a phoenix rising from the ashes.
Yesterday marked the beginning of a two-day Drone Summit in Andhra Pradesh’s capital, Amaravati. The highlight of the summit was a spectacular drone show held at Punnami Ghat in Vijayawada last night. The event featured an awe-inspiring display involving approximately 5,500 drones, captivating attendees with their stunning aerial formations.
This extraordinary drone show, organized by the Drone Corporation of Andhra Pradesh, has achieved five Guinness World Records. These records include the largest aerial display of the planet formation, a landmark, the Indian flag, a logo, and a vehicle. During the event, Chandrababu Naidu was presented with the Guinness World Record certificates, a significant recognition of the achievement.
In addition, Naidu announced plans to allocate 300 acres of land in Orvakal, Kurnool district, for the establishment of a drone city. This initiative aims to create a hub for drone manufacturing, research, certification, and user applications, further solidifying Andhra Pradesh’s position in the rapidly evolving drone industry.
