Twin sisters Naemi and Alena Stump from Switzerland have made headlines by breaking two Guinness World Records for their exceptional synchronized inline skating skills.
The 14-year-old sisters accomplished their feat on a vert ramp that stands 12 feet and 9 inches high, achieving the records for the most synchronized tricks on inline skates in 30 seconds, with a total of 11 tricks, and in one minute, with 21 tricks.
Having started their skating journey at the age of 8, Naemi and Alena revealed that it took years of dedicated practice to synchronize their movements flawlessly. The process was further challenged by Alena’s memory issues, which stem from a brain tumor diagnosed when she was just 2 years old.
“Alena kept forgetting the order of the tricks,” Naemi shared with Guinness World Records, highlighting the obstacles they faced.
The sisters emphasized that weeks of repetitive practice were crucial in perfecting their routine, demonstrating their resilience and commitment to their craft. Their achievement not only showcases their talent but also their strong bond as they continue to inspire others in the world of sports.
