Hundreds of diminutive dachshunds have achieved a new Guinness World Record for the Largest Dachshund Dog Walk. A total of 342 dachshunds gathered at Marble Hill House in Twickenham, south-west London, surpassing the required number of 250.
Following the confirmation of the record, some of the jubilant participants posed for photos with the official certificate. Guinness World Records noted that the dachshund owners were “a truly devoted bunch.
The event, marked by a chorus of excited barks, saw dogs and their owners eagerly awaiting the start of the walk. Organized by pet insurer Agria in partnership with English Heritage and supported by The Kennel Club, the event aimed to raise funds for animal rescue and rehoming centers.
Among the attendees were dachshunds adorned with cones, bows, colorful harnesses, and even puppy pushchairs.
