Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra Region Municipality has secured a prestigious position in the Guinness World Records with its towering landmark sign, the Liwa board.
The monumental structure has been officially acknowledged as the world’s largest sign, standing tall at an impressive height of 221 meters and boasting a weight of 49 tonnes.
Perched 197 meters above sea level atop a hill, the colossal metal installation is a testament to the Al Dhafra Region Municipality’s ongoing efforts to elevate the region’s status as a leading cultural and tourism destination within Abu Dhabi.
This remarkable achievement underscores the municipality’s commitment to innovation and development, as it continues to implement initiatives aimed at enhancing the region’s allure and attracting visitors from around the globe.
