Stansted Airport, UK – Au Vodka has made headlines by unveiling a colossal golden bottle, breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest vodka bottle. Standing at an impressive 2.1 metres tall and boasting a capacity of 250 litres, this monumental creation is now on display at Stansted Airport until June 24.
Charlie Morgan, Managing Director of Au Vodka, expressed the brand’s innovative approach, stating, “Our goal was to bring something different to the drinks market, a piece that goes beyond traditional advertising. The world’s biggest bottle of vodka at Stansted isn’t just a display; it is a statement of our brand’s scale and our ambition to stand out in the global vodka market.”
Backed by prominent figures like DJ Charlie Sloth, the giant bottle is not only a spectacle but also an auction item, with bidding starting at £150,000. To put its value into perspective, a standard 700 millilitre bottle of Au’s original vodka retails at £34.99, making the giant bottle approximately 4,287 times more expensive due to its 250-litre capacity.
Previously, the record for the largest vodka bottle was held by Polish brand Chopin, with a 200-litre bottle of spirit.
Au Vodka’s recent achievements in travel retail have propelled it to global success. The brand gained significant attention when it reportedly paid influencer Jake Paul a hefty sum of US$250,000 to get a tattoo of a bottle on his bicep.
Although Au Vodka’s monumental bottle is a remarkable feat, it falls short of the world’s largest whisky bottle, which fetched over £1 million at auction.
Twitter users have been buzzing about Au Vodka’s record-breaking achievement, solidifying its status as a key player in the spirits industry.
