Released on Tuesday (June 4), these rankings reveal Purdue’s ascent to No. 89 globally, marking a significant leap of 10 spots from the previous year.
Notably, Purdue has secured its place as a top 10 U.S. public university, advancing to No. 8 overall, an improvement of two spots from the previous year. This achievement represents the highest rank Purdue has attained among U.S. public universities since the inception of QS’s independent global ranking system.
Among all U.S. institutions, Purdue claims a prestigious spot in the top 25, securing No. 24, a noteworthy rise from both 2024 (No. 27) and 2023 (No. 32). Furthermore, within the Big Ten conference, Purdue stands out, climbing to No. 6 among the 18 universities, including four new institutions joining this summer. Notably, Purdue is the sole university in the Big Ten to elevate its QS ranking this year, further underscoring its academic prowess.
