A woman from Slim River, Perak, has been recognized by the district council for running the best food stall in Tanjung Malim, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Santhi Nadarajan, the award-winning entrepreneur, received the Best Entrepreneur Award in the Food Shop and Stall Operator category. The award was presented by Aliff Ashraff, the special officer to Tanjung Malim MP and Science, Technology, and Innovation Minister Chang Lih Kang.
The accolade was part of the Madani Community Programme organized by the district council. The event, aimed at benefiting the local community, featured 26 government service counters, including UPSI, Rela, JPJ, Socso, and JKKP. Visitors also had the opportunity to undergo free health check-ups.
This initiative is a key part of the Visit Perak 2024 campaign. Aliff Ashraff emphasized the importance of such community programs, advocating for them to be held more frequently to continue benefiting the community.
