India’s leading IT services companies, TCS and Infosys, along with telecom giant Airtel, have secured places among the world’s 100 most valuable brands. This list, topped by tech titans Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, includes these Indian firms as per the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands Report 2024.
TCS, India’s largest IT services company, holds the 46th position on the list. Airtel, a major player in the telecommunications sector, is ranked 73rd, while Infosys, the country’s second-largest IT services firm, follows closely at 74th. Additionally, HDFC Bank is positioned just below TCS at 47th.
Despite a challenging year marked by global disruption and volatility, Infosys remained steadfast in fulfilling its brand promise. TCS is recognized as the 16th largest brand in the Business Technology and Services Platform category. Infosys, making the list for the third consecutive year, ranks 20th in the same category. Airtel, meanwhile, is the 7th largest brand among telecom providers.
The report also highlights HCLTech as an emerging brand with significant momentum. Kantar’s analysis praises HCLTech, an Indian multinational IT consulting company with a presence in 52 markets, for its solutions in AI-driven software development and engineering lifecycle management.
In the global tech arena, Apple leads the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands Report 2024, with Google, Microsoft, and Amazon securing top spots. Technology companies dominate the list, capturing eight of the top ten positions.
