Rajdeep Kashyap, a determined BSc Botany student from Nalbari College, has achieved global acclaim by securing a Guinness World Record for writing an 84-page book in just nine hours. His remarkable feat, titled “Jonmo Prem Mrityu – Kisu Boigyanik Kisu Aaloukik,” was completed on May 24, 2024, starting at 3:55 PM and concluding at 1:02 AM the following day.
Inspired by a news article detailing a girl from Rajasthan who authored a 61-page book in three days, Rajdeep set out to surpass this achievement. With unwavering dedication, he surpassed his initial goal by crafting 63 pages in under three days, devoting a continuous nine-hour session to secure his place in literary history. Despite facing practical constraints that prevented him from providing the required nine hours of video proof to Guinness World Records, Rajdeep obtained approval from the principal of Nalbari College, which served as valid evidence for his record-breaking accomplishment.
For Rajdeep, writing is more than a hobby; it’s a passion that drives him to excel beyond conventional boundaries. Speaking to GPlus, he emphasized the importance of dedication and perseverance in pursuing one’s passions, stating, “Everyone has their own talent and strategy. Make it from your heart and mind, and go the extra mile from others; otherwise, you cannot rise in your profession and hobby.”
The approval of Rajdeep’s record by Guinness World Records on June 5, 2024, underscores his determination and the support he received from his educational institution and community. His achievement not only highlights his personal commitment but also promotes the richness of Assamese literature on a global platform.
As Rajdeep Kashyap continues to inspire others with his record-breaking achievement, his story serves as a testament to the power of dedication, passion, and the pursuit of excellence in every endeavor.
