For the third consecutive year, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) has clinched the prestigious title of Best Airport in North America, as bestowed by the Airports Council International.
Maintaining an impressive record, the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) proudly announces that MSP has secured this accolade for the seventh time in the past eight years.
This distinguished recognition stems from surveys distributed to 595,000 travelers onsite across 400 airports spanning 95 countries. The comprehensive surveys gauge various aspects of the passenger experience, encompassing check-in processes, security measures, cleanliness standards, shopping and dining options, and navigational ease throughout the airport.
In response to the commendable achievement, MAC Chairman Rick King remarked in a prepared statement, “MSP’s consistent streak of ASQ awards is a remarkable testament to our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional services, amenities, and an overall welcoming environment. This dedication resonates with passengers, encouraging them to return for visits or conduct business in Minnesota.”
Additionally, MSP continues to uphold its standing as the 19th busiest airport in North America. Notably, the airport served 34.7 million passengers in 2023, marking an 11% increase from the previous year, as reported by the MAC.
The reiteration of MSP’s distinction underscores its unwavering commitment to excellence and underscores its pivotal role as a premier gateway facilitating seamless travel experiences for millions of passengers annually.
